the staff was very friendly and helpful. the food on both days was great, i enjoyed the meals. our room was spacious and it had a comfortable bed.

the tv didn't work . the toilet seat in my room were broken. there weren't curtains on the roof window, the light got into the room.

trans pennine trail secure storage inviting ambiance

Arriving on bicycle was easy due to direct access to the trans pennine trail. they permitted secure bicycle storage, even though cycle facilities are not formally advertised. dining was lovely on a wednesday evening. The ambiance felt inviting, not at all dull. staff were very efficient AND cute throughout my visit. all was wonderful indeed.

i noticed cycle storage IS not promoted, which might deter cyclists needing assurance beforehand.
