The Old Grey Mare Inn by Greene King Inns is often praised for its convenient location, especially for those visiting Hull University. Guests appreciate the clean and spacious rooms, many of which feature comfortable beds, kettles, and both bath and shower facilities, plus nice extras like fans and extra pillows. The pub downstairs is a highlight, offering tasty food and a friendly atmosphere, along with a 20% discount for hotel guests; though some guests in rooms at the rear of the building have noted some noise from bins being emptied. Easy parking at the rear of the building and swift check-in add to a generally positive experience.

basic stay with some letdowns

old mattress underwhelming breakfast
the staff was friendly and cute, which i suppose is a plus.
The room i got felt more like a bedsit than a hotel room. the mattress was old, and i swear i could feel the springs trying to escape (it wasn't a pleasant sensation). also, breakfast was underwhelming. One sausage and one egg is hardly a feast.

My bathroom could use an upgrade , I saw limescale. The bedding had stains , I was unhappy about that. There was hair all over the bathroom , I did not like this.
