amazing staff lovely decor convenient location

the staff created a special experience. the room boasted lovely decor (it reminded me of stepping into a painting). the waterbus stop being so close made getting around easier, though i preferred walking.

the shower being in the bath was a bit old-fashioned for my taste (i generally prefer a separate cubicle).

The hotel offered a water taxi dock for effortless arrivals and departures. A vaporetto stop sat only 50 feet from the front door. My room was spacious and comfortable. I found the hotel staff to be consistently helpful.

The shower was inside the bathtub, and I prefer separate shower cubicles.

canal noise luxury hotel

the staff was responsive to questions i posed. i asked about boat rides and dinner reservations. options were given for both (it was a welcome change).

my room was noisy because it faced the canal. it was on a lower floor, so i could hear every boat passing throughout the night. i don't understand how it is considered a luxury hotel with that level of noise.
