Review summary

Based on recent reviews

Sina Palazzo Sant'Angelo is generally considered a great choice for a Venetian stay, situated right on the Grand Canal, with a Vaporetto stop conveniently located just outside. Many guests enjoyed spacious and nicely decorated rooms, some even receiving upgrades, and appreciated the views, with some rooms overlooking the canal. amazing staff lovely decor convenient location

the staff created a special experience. the room boasted lovely decor (it seemed like stepping into a painting). the waterbus stop being so close made getting around easier, though i preferred walking.

the shower being in the bath was a bit old-fashioned for my taste (i generally prefer a separate cubicle).

Excellent Canal-Side Stay

water taxi vaporetto stop spacious room helpful staff

The hotel offered a water taxi dock for effortless arrivals and departures. A vaporetto stop sat only 50 feet from the front door. My room was spacious and comfortable. I found the hotel staff to be consistently helpful.

The shower was inside the bathtub, and I prefer separate shower cubicles.

Dining

9/10

Breakfast service was very pleasant, and coffee was excellent. The breakfast buffet provided a satisfying start to the day, with sufficient options to fuel our morning explorations.

Service

10/10

Staff members consistently displayed readiness to assist, aiming to ensure guests enjoyed their stays. Their guidance, particularly with local transportation, proved beneficial, as they offered practical recommendations. The front desk was helpful with directions

canal noise luxury hotel

the staff was responsive to questions i posed. i asked about boat rides and dinner reservations. options were given for both (it was a welcome change).

my room was noisy because it faced the canal. it was on a lower floor, so i could hear every boat passing throughout the night. i don't understand how it is considered a luxury hotel with that level of noise.
