A calm stay by the sea

short walk ample portions friendly staff
I appreciated the location of my room.. it was close to the beach, just a short walk away. The room itself, a 'Superior Double Room', was equipped well. I found the bed comfortable and the tea and coffee supplies generous. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout the hotel. The food was delicious. Portion sizes were ample. I particularly enjoyed the evening meal in the conservatory, it was quieter there.
the car park sometimes lacked available spaces. This meant I had to park on the road outside on occasion.
Rooms
9/10
The 'Superior Double Room' includes crisp, clean sheets and a comfortable duvet. The bathroom has fluffy, clean towels, and nice-smelling toiletries are supplied. The room offered everything necessary for a relaxing stay.
Location
9/10
This location provides a tranquil retreat with easy access to the beach and local trails. The hotel is close to the beach, great for lovely starlit walks. The surrounding gardens are well kept and offer a lovely clean area.

The location was acceptable. It was close to some trails.
I had issues with the room temperature. It was too hot. The bathroom towels smelled strongly like chemicals, an unpleasant odor. I did not like that at all.
