i had a standard double room. the food in the restaurant tasted very good. the staff were attentive and friendly there, also at reception.

the room's yellow lights were not ideal. the room style seemed dated, like the 1980s. there was a musty smell in the room too.

The room was a great size. I found the bed lovely and comfortable. The staff were pretty good especially in The Brasserie. I was super happy.

I noticed that to get to the pool you had to walk through reception and the lounge. You had to walk past the brasserie and through the bar. It was not the most ideal customer journey. I also had to pay extra on arrival just to use the pool and gym.

The food was really good (i especially enjoyed the desserts!). restaurant staff were attentive and friendly, just like the reception team. i used the pool, sauna, and steam room. They were very clean and well-kept.

i noticed some grit in the whirlpool. i saw it mentioned in a previous review, so i was prepared, but it's definitely something i think the hotel should address.
