The breakfast was amazing. A very large tasty full english. toast, coffee, fruit salad and yoghurt were served. presentation was very well. i liked the quick check in. I also enjoyed the large room.
the room was a bit dusty and needed a good clean! dust gathered in a corner. it had clearly not been cleaned for months

The grounds are beautiful with mature coniferous trees. It created an excellent display. it was nice to be able to park my car in the hotel grounds. Made things very simple. the location is a perfect base to visit local villages.

breakfast offered a lot of choice. the breakfast was very nice with fresh produce. i also received coffee and toast. breakfast stood out as a highlight.

The building's exterior is beautiful. I found the interior quite quirky! the bed provided a restful sleep. i appreciated the chance to read about the hotel's interesting history in a book provided in the room. i also saw the ancient ice cave, it was very interesting!
My room needed some attention, i spotted visible cobwebs that should have been cleaned. the wardrobe runners were also quite filthy. i also noticed an occasional ant. Some pest control would be beneficial.

the staff was friendly, and they served a nice breakfast with fresh produce. the manager was also friendly and helpful. it was like coming home, the staff are so lovely!

the hotel has quirky decorations with ornaments that fit the hotel's age. i also noticed there was plenty of parking, it was quite spacious. i had a comfortable room with a balcony overlooking the grounds!

The room i booked , a budget double room , felt quite neglected. cobwebs were in several corners of the room , not something i expect even in a budget stay. i also noticed the armchair arms were greasy . Clearly , cleaning was not thorough.

Breakfast included fresh, locally sourced produce. It was served promptly each morning i enjoyed the large grounds, perfect for a morning stroll among the mature trees. The air felt crisp and clean! i also found the staff cute, addressing any query i had with patience
The wi-fi signal was a bit weak in certain areas of the hotel. I managed, though it was a slight inconvenience.
