Location: Just a 10-minute walk from local attractions

Accommodation: 8 uniquely styled Boutique Bedrooms

Dining: Franklin's Brasserie with homemade cuisine

Weddings: Registered venue with personalized packages

“In my opinion, whilst it strives to deliver a boutique hotel experience, there are a few notable issues that warrant attention. The property excels as a venue for weddings and events, with flexible spaces and comprehensive services, and it could be an excellent choice for golf breaks. The need for general maintenance is obvious, though.”

The WiFi worked as expected.
I was locked out of the hotel. Nobody was there to let me in. The only option was an answering machine.

A pleasant stay

polite staffspacious roomcomfortable roompre-ordered breakfastcontinental breakfastwater absence
The staff was polite. The location is great. My room was spacious and comfortable.
I was surprised breakfast had to be pre-ordered. It was a takeaway continental breakfast in a box. I didn't order it then. I would have liked a bottle of water in the room. (Or I could have ordered one, but no one was at the bar when I arrived).

a good return

patio arearefurbished roomdietary needtoy iron
i visited again recently after a year, and i saw nice improvements. a new patio area really standed out. rooms looked updated. the people running it were attentive as they always were. they remembered dietary needs and offered good tips about the surroundings.
the toy iron in the room wasn't great. i found it hard to properly iron my shirts. it felt a bit inadequate for more than just a quick touch-up.

The place served a quite good full english breakfast each morning. The selection of pastries and fruit was nice, a decent way to start the day before i went exploring.
