wonderful stay in the city
helpful staff comfortable bed superb garden
the staff was helpful . my room had a comfortable bed. i found the inner garden to be a superb space.
the hotel lacked tea and coffee making facilities in the room. i had to order at the bar, and was charged for this service. providing a kettle in the room would improve the stay.

the breakfast buffet offered a variety of choices. i saw fresh fruit, pastries , and hot dishes. seating was available both indoors and outdoors near the courtyard , which I found good.

wonderful stay!
super clean room extensive selection relaxing space helpful staff
the room was super clean and well-kept. i found the breakfast selection to be extensive with many options. the courtyard provided a relaxing space, i especially enjoyed it in the evenings. the staff was very helpful and very friendly throughout my stay.
the street where the hotel is located is quite narrow, made initial arrival by car a bit tricky.

a traditional hotel
tiled courtyard helpful staff hot water rude cleaning lady dirty towels breakfast ingredients
the hotel is an attractive traditional one in a quiet street. the tiled courtyard was lovely and the staff were helpful. my room was tasteful and included a bath with plenty of hot water.
the cleaning lady was RUDE. she refused to give us a change of towels if we did not give her back the dirty ones. this HAS never happened to me in a hotel before. i also found breakfast ingredients were not the best quality.

inadequate soundproofing dated bathroom
I found THE soundproofing inadequate. Every noise from the hallway was audible. The room itself was quite dated , especially the bathroom. I noticed the shower grout needed attention and some fixtures looked worn.

peaceful courtyard walkable location relaxing space
the courtyard was so peaceful, i really enjoyed it! the location was good, very walkable. the rooftop pool offered a relaxing space to unwind after a day of exploration. the staff were lovely.
The elevator was out of service for a day, it was inconvenient. Especially with luggage.
