Adequate stay in central location

great locationhelpful staffdated bathroomloose tiles
The hotel location was great. It was near the Cathedral. The reception staff was helpful. Breakfast was good but specific requests were needed, especially for tea and eggs.
The bathroom was dated. The sink had a crack and the bathroom rail was crooked. Some floor tiles were loose and a cupboard was falling apart. the safe didn't work. Drawers were also difficult to open.

The staff were helpful. The location was acceptable.
The room lacked proper sound insulation, and noise from outside was VERY audible at all hours. Breakfast offered little variety and the same options were presented each morning. I had expected more from a hotel in this price range.
