an ok stay, but some issues
small room tiny bathroom
the staff were helpful, good.
The room felt quite small, especially with luggage, there wasn't much space to move around and i felt cramped. the bathroom was also tiny, it was difficult to shower comfortably. the noise from outside was bothersome. I heard waste collection early in the morning.

convenient location quiet bar ample seating
The hotel's location proved convenient. The proximity to the sanctuary was a major plus, i walked there easily. The quiet bar offered plenty of seating. it was great.

Staff members communicated effectively in english, they readily addressed our needs. A young man working at the cafe in the foyer stood out. he was particularly wonderful with takeaway pizza orders each night.

Breakfast offered good value. It presented a decent selection. The coffee shop stayed open late, until 11 pm, very useful. A generous buffet dinner was available for €23.90. This included a complete meal.

The hotel is approximately 500 meters from the church. The accessibility to the sanctuary is excellent, just a short walk away. All main points of interest are within walking distance including shops, restaurants, and bus stops.

a few issues during stay
small room tiny bathroom
i booked a room. the room was quite small. there was little space to move around and no proper place to store luggage. the bathroom was also tiny. the location was good, but the price seemed too high for what i got.

Excellent Stay Near the Shrine
shrine entrance renovated room electric kettle helpful staff
The location is excellent. It is very close to the shrine entrance. I found the room recently renovated and very clean. A mini fridge and electric kettle provided me with convenient options for coffee and tea. The staff greeted me warmly and were very helpful.
The front desk could use some training on customer service.

The food and service in the a la carte restaurant were good (I especially liked the breakfast). A buffet is available, with great options for different tastes and dietary needs. There is access to a cafe with discounts.

The hotel is centrally located close to the basilica (just around the corner). This made it easy to get to and from the various services and activities. The location is great for accessing important sites.

The staff spoke English very well, which I appreciated. The reception staff were very professional and helpful. The hotel staff are always pleasant and accommodating when I needed assistance.

My room on the fourth floor was upgraded and comfortable. The room was spacious, bright, and quiet. The hairdryer had several speeds and a cool wind option, a bonus for personal care.

the room included air conditioning this was very helpful after hot days. the room also featured a modern tv screen. the location provided very quick access to the sanctuary.

The location was great. I could easily return to my room anytime after walking around the town to drop off shopping bags. The hotel coffee shop opened early for breakfast. Communication with the hotel prior to arrival was very responsive to my questions.
My room was in the attic. There was a staircase to get to my bedroom. The beds felt tight because of the furniture. It was hard to open the sliding wardrobe and the small attic windows. The AC could not be controlled from the room, even after I asked twice at reception.
