“The Royal Oak offers a slice of Yorkshire charm, with its historic pub setting and hearty meals drawing you in; it seems a genuine village hub. While some areas show their age, the blend of warm hospitality and home-style cooking makes it a worthwhile experience for those exploring Great Ayton and the surrounding moors. I think it's the kind of place where the character outweighs the imperfections.”
