I was charmed by the grand piano right in the entrance. I enjoyed playing it. our beautiful suite really was very good. the hotel provided ample tea, coffee, and a free tuck bar which i took full advantage of. breakfast was great. The kitchen happily provided my request for wholemeal toast.

i found that , the gardens needed some tlc. the grounds generally looked poorly maintained. i hope they can address this soon.

the location was acceptable.

the christmas treat i booked was quite the disappointment. it definitely didn't feel like a 5-star hotel, the hot breakfast fell far short of expectations and did not include fruit or pastries, the suite was cold, and the tea bags were loose in a jar without wrappers.
