the room was a nice size. it also included a good sized en-suite bathroom. i appreciated that tea, coffee and biscuits were provided.

the room was cold when i arrived. the central heating eventually switched on. however, it was off at 9 pm and was not switched on again until 8:30 am.

i stayed in a double room four poster bed! the room was clean and well stocked, i found that good. the staff was very friendly and they couldn't do enough for me. dinner was good and breakfast had extra options like black pudding.

The room only had one chair. For two people, that is a little inadequate.

The room was decorated well with attention to detail. The bathroom had a great bath, and the bed included crisp fresh bedding. I ate my evening meal in the bar, and I enjoyed breakfast too. The staff was very friendly.
