a stayed that had its ups and downs
helpful hostfine locationsteep stairsside entrance
i found diana, the host, loverly and helpful. she showed me all the amenities upon arrival. the location worked fine too. it was just a 20-30 mins walk to the center of city.
the stairs to my room felt steep. i couldn't put a full foot on them, which i feel, made it dangerous. the entrance is on the side, not at the front like the pictures show, and i think, it should be shown better.

The lady who checked me in was helpful. I got access to my room early. The communal kitchen was stocked with cereals, bread, milk, tea and coffee.

the host was cute and helpful. she provided useful information about local attractions. i found the building's historical character particularly appealing. the italian restaurant downstairs offered convenient and delicious dining options.
i noticed a slight musty smell in the hallway, but my room was fine.

my room was a good size and very clean. the bed was comfortable with nice linens. i appreciated the availability of extra pillows in the closet.

the owner was fantastic!!! she gave me tips for exploring the area. she helped me with my luggage upon arrival. she made sure i had everything i needed.

i ate at the italian restaurant downstairs, and the food was amazing. they have a wide selection of pasta and pizza. the service was prompt and very friendly. i enjoyed my meal.
