The Royal Dunkeld Hotel enjoys a superb location on Dunkeld's main street, making it easy to explore nearby shops, cafés, and the Dunkeld Cathedral, and only a short walk from the River Tay, while also providing convenient access to walks at The Hermitage. Guests appreciated the good value for money, especially when booking deals. The rooms are clean and comfortable and, though some have found them on the smaller side, they provide everything needed for a pleasant stay. Some guests have noted that the hotel could use a revamp.

Wonderful Hospitality and Great Food!

helpful stafffunction roomhomemade treatsgreat burgers
The staff were helpful and cute! I even got offered a function room for a meeting, unexpected (but very useful). I extended my stay specifically because of the excellent service. The afternoon tea included a great choice of homemade treats. The dinner was ALSO great, especially the homemade burgers!
The reception area felt a little chilly when I first arrived.
