The Royal Castle offers guests a stay full of character, with some rooms boasting fabulous views over the harbour and the river Dart. Many guests enjoyed the spacious rooms, some even featuring a four-poster bed, while others found the lack of a lift and multiple flights of stairs challenging. The restaurant is a highlight, especially the Christmas lunch, though some found the prices a little high.
