The location is acceptable to explore the nearby area. It is quieter than other villages.

The bathroom door wouldn't shut properly. This presented an issue, as there was no lock, and the bed had a direct view into the bathroom so putting a towel down behind the door wasn't really what i expected after paying nearly £250 for the night.

i received a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful room. the spa facilities were available for free use and provided great relaxation. the breakfast options were excellent , offering a good variety.

the dinner menu remained unchanged , limiting dining choices. some food items carried an extra supplement. i observed a 10% service charge on bar drinks , even for self-service.

The Wi-Fi signal was somewhat weak in certain areas of the hotel.

Breakfast took over 40 minutes to arrive at the table. The sauna was not fully functional. The room was not great. I did not sleep well the first night because room 11 is directly above reception and there was constant noise.

The room had a balcony. It offered a good view of the scenery. Access to the spa was a great extra. Staff were both cute and helpful.

The hotel was okay, but our room, the Rothsay suite, had issues. Plugs near the bed were round pin plugs. These seem outdated. The sink would not fill with water as the plug did not work..
