The check-in process was slow. i arrived at 5:30 pm, yet i waited 45 minutes for my room keys. the bed was two single mattresses pushed together. It was quite uncomfortable. the food was also disappointing (i mean, hair in eggs benedict? really?).

I found the service wanting. no one seemed available when needed. I had to actively seek assistance at reception multiple times. the room cleaning was also substandard, particularly the bathroom mirror. it had several streaks and smudges that detracted from an otherwise well-appointed space

Zita provided a very warm welcome. The grounds are visually excellent, with bronze statues both inside and outside the building. The room was quite spacious. The bathroom also offered ample space. The bed provided comfortable rest.

The staff seemed a bit uncertain, needing prompting to greet guests and understand their needs. The bathtub drained slowly. The grout around the tub showed some grime.

The breakfast included a very comprehensive menu and each dish tasted freshly cooked. The bedrooms in the main house looks superb. The sitting rooms are grand.

I found the bar area felt a little quiet as no music played.
