a fantastic ottoman-era experience

The building has a wonderful history, formerly a bank and dating back to the ottoman era. the location is excellent. I walked to many old town attractions in under ten minutes. i especially liked seeing the door to the former bank vault from the breakfast room.

My room faced the entrance. Smokers gathered just outside. cigarette smoke drifted under the door as they chatted. i used bathrobes to block the gap.

The hotel's location is ideal. Restaurants and main attractions are close. The staff was nice. The triple room was comfortable. There was ZERO noise from outside.

My room was on the top floor, a Beautiful Double Room with Balcony. The front desk was unattended upon arrival. I waited over 20 minutes for someone to arrive, DESPITE ringing the bell. The room has a huge jacuzzi in the middle of the room. All the nozzles gave off a smell of drainage.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was even more beautiful than the photos showed, a fantastic surprise. The hotel's location is unbeatable, I could walk to all the main attractions with ease.

The entrance and garbage area right next to the hotel were not so nice, such a shame!

The hotel is located very close to many historical places. I could walk to most of them. City transport is also conveniently located just a short 5-7 minute walk away, made getting around very easy. The area safety was good and accessible!

The staff showed themselves as helpful and attentive, always ready to assist. I needed a smaller pillow, and it was promptly provided. We also asked for wine glasses and they were delivered directly to our room, VERY considerate. On arrival, we received detailed information about local sights and helpful tips.

I found that the room windows were not closing properly, and cold wind came inside. I'd hoped for a better seal to maintain a more consistent temperature. This made the room less cozy than I anticipated.

Breakfast included vegetarian and vegan options like fried mushrooms and baked potatoes. Fresh salads, olives, fresh bread, and a wide variety of fruits were also available. Turkish coffee and tea tasted very good.

the staff was attentive. i needed extra towels and they promptly delivered them. the breakfast had a nice variety of fresh fruit. the hotel also provided a convenient shuttle service to the airport.

the noise started early each morning. the wifi signal was weak in my room. i had to go to the lobby to get a stable connection.
