the location was superb, very close to the jewish quarter (a great starting point for exploring). the reception team helped arrange my trips to auschwitz and the salt mines, which i found very convenient. i even got a breakfast bag because i had an early flight. the breakfast had lots of options. cooked-to-order choices.

I found the staff polite and helpful (they really went the extra mile). my room was nice and roomy. I especially liked that i could call down for free items like razors and shaving foam. breakfast had a large choice and all eggs were cooked to order. The food and service were wonderful.

The room felt a bit small. I noticed there was no full length mirror. The magnifying mirror was installed at a height , made it unusable.

loud air conditioningno poached eggs

the air conditioning was quite loud. it ran constantly and sometimes made the wardrobe doors vibrate. i reported this after the first night and asked to change rooms but staff said the hotel was fully booked. there were no poached eggs included in the breakfast, even though fried eggs were included without extra charge.

the room had a decent size, and the decor was generally acceptable.

I found the lack of english tv channels frustrating. I expected at least one bbc channel. after a day of walking, i wanted to relax with some tv, but i was out of luck. this absence was really annoying.
