“The Roker Hotel BW Premier Collection benefits immensely from its position overlooking the North Sea, blending historic charm with a contemporary experience. I noted the cocktail selection, crafted with on-site distilled spirits, is a particularly distinctive touch. Its proximity to the Stadium of Light and Sunderland's attractions makes it a practical choice, though some aspects, like the variable breakfast, appear to need a more consistent approach.”

the location is very good. i could easily walk to the seafront. there is also many restaurants around including 'let their be crumbs' for cakes and coffee. i found that really convenient. the location made everything accessible.
i noticed the music was to loud all night. i could here people walking up and down past the room shouting. there was no heating in the room when it was cold. this.

The breakfast had a great selection. It included cooked items, cereals and continental options. The staff at reception was very cute. Ian specifically. This was appreciated.
The executive room was above the bar, and it caused noise from wedding events.

the food was really good and the staff were friendly!
I always choose this hotel when I visit friends and family, but this time, i think I will look elsewhere. This time I was put in a room on the top floor with a window at the fire escape. Apart from a poor view, I felt vulnerable as a single female customer because I didn't feel safe as there was easy access to my room.

The location was perfect, right on the seafront (i loved the sea breeze!). my room featured a wonderful sea view, i enjoyed it a lot. the staff were so friendly and helpful. I felt very welcome. i especially appreciated the takeaway breakfast box on my last morning.
The toilet seat in the room wasn't the highest quality. It moved a little during use (it's a minor detail, though).

Staff was friendly. They gave time to explain everything.
The room looked much larger in photos. It looked like the small double rooms on arrival. The TV was placed high on the wall. Watching it was uncomfortable.
