welcome additioncracked tilesunpleasant smell
the breakfast vouchers to gail's bakery next door proved a welcome addition. food and coffee were both quite good there.
i found some serious issues with my room. the bathroom showed a lot of wear, including cracked tiles. additionally, the toilet lid had discolored streaks, and there was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom overall. i expected much better given the hotel rating.

i loved the hotel staff, they were so friendly and helpful. i even got a very welcome room upgrade. the hotel was super clean and in a great location for the west end and transport. kayla at reception was particularly friendly and helpful, i must say.
the phone in my room randomly started making a loud alarm noise at 3:06am! it scared me, and it took 15 minutes to stop the noise

breakfast is next door at gail's and offers many options. there is a narrow bar and cafe with about eight tables. you will find scrambled egg on offer, it is very pale yellow.

the hotel is centrally located close to theatres, chinatown and piccadilly. many restaurants, cafes and shops are nearby. it is perfect to travel to so many tourist locations including the theatre.
