broken shower screen cold water
food at dinner time was really tasty and well presented.
the shower screen was only half there and water poured to the floor, i didn't like this. the toilet was not attached properly either. the water on shower was very cold most of the times, and I couldn't enjoy.

Great Location with Amazing Views

The hotel is near both the bus and train stations. I found a grocery store within walking distance which was really useful. The room included some nice snacks. It was also quiet at night. The beds were comfortable.
The fire alarm went off at night and disrupted my sleep. I noticed peeling paint outside the pool area. the bar did not open until 5.30pm, so getting a drink or snack at lunchtime wasn't possible. Stair carpet was worn and dirty. The stairs also had poor lighting.

The room itself seemed newly renovated and provided excellent facilities. There were both tea and coffee facilities available. A big jar full of treats including biscuits and crisps was a lovely touch..

The staff seemed helpful, especially when I found out about the train disruptions for my return journey. They helped me look up the timetable. The staff was attentive to guests.
