the breakfast was very good. the location also was great for getting about. staff were very friendly and helpful AS well.

the rooms are situated in what appears to be a maze of similar looking corridors and stairs, like an Escher drawing. sadly very dated decor and poor repair work were noticeable, especially in the room that I stayed in.

the location was perfect being directly opposite the train station. a lovely cooked breakfast buffet style was included and had everything i wanted. the staff were friendly. i found the tea and coffee supplies plentiful.

The shower pressure could have been better. It was adequate but not particularly powerful.

Registration was easy. My room was large and the heating worked well. I found the bed comfortable and enjoyed a good shower in the big bathroom. I also appreciated the razor point and good lighting in the bathroom, together with the good quality carpet.
