The villa's setting was lovely. The hotel felt very private. the breakfast offered a generous, sumptuous selection. juliana, at reception, was cute and helpful, we felt at home. she provided useful advice about local restaurants. We appreciated her recommendations. the atmosphere felt relaxed. It was a perfect escape from the city.

the room had signs of dampness and mold. on the walls, and it smelled like mold. this was disappointing for a hotel of this standard.

the room had a musty smell and i suspect mold i noticed the air conditioning unit struggled to cool the room i found that the staff acted indifferently when i reported it the offered solutions were lacking and the problem persisted throughout my stay

The hotel location was good. It was a 20-minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio.

I was frustrated. No one told me the restaurant closed on Sundays. I only found out when I asked for a menu at 9 PM. they told me I had to eat takeout in my room. The hotel was not providing dinner that evening anyway!
