a mixed bag, i guess
unwelcoming staffinsane pricing
the staff were alright, i guess. it's not that they were BAD, but there wasnt any sort of genuine engagement, you know? i didn't feel particularly welcomed. also, the mini-bar pricing was insane. paying extra for drinks in a supposedly fancy place rubs me the wrong way.

the staff showed kindness. location proved convenient with proximity to various attractions.
the initial room reeked of sewer odors, i found the smell pervasive for three days, even extending into the hallway, this rendered the room unacceptable upon arrival. despite moving to another room, no compensation for the initial inconvenience or discomfort emerged. i also felt the lack of a makeup mirror in the bathroom. the mini fridge not including complimentary drinks detract from an otherwise acceptable stay.

The location was central. EVERYTHING was within easy walking distance. I enjoyed having a kettle in my room. The breakfast buffet offered scrambled eggs plus many protein and cereal choices. I felt well catered for. The hotel provided extra pillows at my request.

The reception team were helpful and NICE. They provided restaurant recommendations and offered extra towels, which i appreciate. The staff readily accommodated a request for a late checkout, helpful for my travel schedule.

i just adored the proximity to the accademia gallery it was literally across the street. the staff provided really good service with a noticeably amazing crew.
i noticed the shared ironing area near the front desk it could benefit from more frequent upkeep.

the location was convenient enough for exploring the area.
The room felt quite small and dark. the bedding was not soft. The sheets felt rough and the pillows were not comfortable. it all seemed rather substandard considering the price.
