convenient location helpful staff clean room small room missing desk small bathroom sink
the hotel location proved very convenient. it was quite close to paddington station, i think a short walk. ayesha was friendly and helpful, a great asset. the room was impeccably clean, i noticed.
my room felt quite small. it was also missing a proper desk. the bathroom sink felt unusually small, i must admit. conditioner was not supplied, unexpectedly.

Balanced experience at this hotel
bright room space-saving design overwhelmed staff stale smell
I appreciated the bright rooms. The space saving ideas used in the room design were effective. The area was also convenient (i used public transport).
The front desk staff seemed overwhelmed during busier times. The basement room I had felt a little depressing. I noticed a stale smell, which others have mentioned.

The staff was very helpful. The room had a tv with many channels. My stay included access to a nearby gym (it was fully equipped).

great stay near paddington
great proximity attentive staff efficient design water stations
I appreciated the hotel's proximity to paddington station, it made travel very convenient. the staff was attentive. They quickly addressed my queries. i found the room design efficient, maximizing the use of space. the complimentary water stations on each floor were a nice addition.
the breakfast options felt somewhat limited, particularly regarding substitutions.

The room featured a comfortable bed with quality linens. it also included a modern bathroom with complimentary toiletries. The shower had good water pressure. fresh towels were provided daily.

Underwhelming Stay. Issues with Room and Breakfast
small room abrupt staff
The location was acceptable. It provided easy access to public transport.
The room I initially got reminded me of a shoebox. Definitely not the superior double I booked. After complaining, they moved me to a larger room, but not without a hassle. This took some effort to resolve. The gentleman at breakfast was quite abrupt. Many guests seemed to have the same problem with breakfast inclusions.

calm sense good choice broken machine key machine
The decor in the lobby created a sense of calm. It felt quite intentional. The breakfast had very good choices. It was also very healthy.
The key machine did not work , so they did not have a backup. I had to ask someone from reception to open the door for me. The gym was not very good, and I was unable to control the temperature. The cycling machine was broken as well.
