charmed by my stay!!!

the location was convenient. the main square was only a short walk away. my room had plenty of space. the bed was very comfortable. i found the bathroom lovely and the shower big. slippers were also provided, a treat after a long day!!!

poor sound insulation inner courtyard

Our room faced an inner courtyard. It lacked much natural light. The noise from other guests late at night was also noticeable. I could hear conversations and movement, a problem that affected my sleep, because I'm sensitive to noise. A brighter room away from common areas would improve the experience. There wasn't enough sound insulation.

the hotel staff was helpful with directions. i found the room immaculate upon arrival. they also provided a complimentary takeaway breakfast box when i had to leave early for my train. i found this very thoughtful.

the bedroom felt detached as it was not located in the main building. my room, number 10, lacked a view since the curtains had to remain closed for privacy. i would have preferred a room within the main structure.

Fantastic Stay, Nice Experience

The room was AMAZING and spacious. I found robes with chocolates on the pillows. The beds were very comfy. Breakfast was delicious and varied daily. I appreciated the history and lovely decor of the building.

My room was next to reception. Loud voices woke me up in the morning. I could hear everything they were saying. The bedroom was cold. This was my second time staying, and the bedrooms were not as good as the first time.

The breakfast had lots of variety each day and was delicious. The bar was great and the cocktails were very nice. The hotel location is perfect for arriving by train and for exploring the local area.

lack of storage cramped room

The breakfast was good, a feast really. however, our room lacked storage. there was no closet. i had to keep my belongings in my suitcase. this. It detracted from the overall experience.
