a good and solid choice

the room was quiet and roomy. staff were happy to leave us to our own devices. the hotel provided free car parking. a fridge was available in the room.
the hotel exit was a bit difficult to see oncoming traffic. it required extra caution.

The hotel provided off road parking. finding the hotel was easy. It's located a manageable distance from the town, accessible via a straightforward road. you can walk to town, but there are few options to take the bus.

tea and coffee facilities existed in the room, convenient. the provided continental breakfast had a selection. a mini fridge was available, allowing storage of drinks. we liked the big bath towels

I appreciated the large room. It was clean, and the bed felt comfortable. Little extras like the fridge and biscuits were nice touches. Staff were friendly, i found them helpful. Location is good for walking to the town center.
The light in the bathroom DID not turn off. It was a bit annoying.

I appreciated the room size. it was spacious with a separate sitting area. the bathroom had a shower. It worked for my stay. coffee and chilled water were provided in the room. It was appreciated.
I didn't like leaving negative reviews. i had emailed the hotel directly with my concerns. I didn't receive a response. i chased them for this. The response was very poor. personal safety was an issue as a lone female traveler. No staff was in evidence day or night, and the front door to the hotel was left open for a significant part of my stay.

I found free parking very convenient. The room had a mirror near a plug (that's always a plus!). The hotel provided water and tea and coffee supplies. nice biscuits in the room. I appreciated the peaceful atmosphere (it felt very restful).
The breakfast options felt a bit limited. More variety would have been welcome.

i appreciated the provided fridge , also the kettle and camomile tea in the room were a nice touch. the bathroom included hair conditioner , something i always find useful. our space featured a separate lounge in addition to the bedroom. the location allowed a pleasant walk to the town, a pub was nearby, and a couple of restaurants were easily accessible.
i needed an invoice to reclaim expenses , and obtaining it proved difficult due to the absence of a formal checkout process.

The staff showed a friendly attitude! They were accommodating to all requests. My room had really clean features and felt very fresh. The shower was excellent and I enjoyed the water pressure.
The hotel did not have many personel in the evening.
