Rooms at Rose & Crown

The Rose & Crown features thirteen en-suite rooms. Five rooms are located directly over the pub, and eight are in the building across the lane. Four rooms can be booked as family rooms, two are doubles, and seven can be configured as twins. Dog-friendly rooms are available. Each room benefits from satellite TV and tea and coffee-making facilities. The double room includes a private bathroom fitted with a bath or a shower and a hairdryer. This double room has an electric kettle, a carpeted floor, flat-screen TV with satellite channels, as well as chocolate for guests.

Dining at the Pub

The Rose & Crown offers fresh, seasonal food daily, with Sunday roasts. The menu includes Aubrey Allen beef, Jimmy Butler's free-range pork, and vegetarian Wellington. Guests can try fresh watermelon salad, hand-picked crab, paprika prawns on sourdough, or free-range chicken with butterbeans. The bar serves fine ales, wines, gins, and cocktails. There is limited short-stay on-street parking available next to the pub. For longer stays, it's recommended to use the surface car park just off Bowling Green Street or the multi-storey car park on Linen Street, both of which are less than a 5-minute walk away. Note that Linen Street closes at 8 PM. If staying overnight, park at a meter, drop your bags off, and directions to the best parking will be provided.
