the receptionist was very helpful when i rang to advise a late arrival and was ready when i arrived. the room was basic though comfortable and clean. they provided tea making facilities and towels and i appreciated the smooth check in process.

i noticed there was no kettle in the room and i needed to visit reception to request one i needed a better socket for the kettle closer to the tv.

the room was clean and it had good lighting. the bed felt comfortable. the ensuite was complete with teak details i liked. i paid a good price for it. there was enough towels and tea and coffee in the room, also a kettle.

the tap came apart. scalding hot water started to pour. it soaked my sleeve and i couldn't turn it off.

The location was quite convenient for getting to the train station. I didn't need to bother with taxis.

The noise level was ridiculous. loud music went on until 1 am, and it was so loud it vibrated the glasses in my room. The staff didn't seem to care when i complained.

The staff was AVAILABLE when needed. The hotel is located very close to the rail station. This made my travel easy. I had endless tea and coffee in my room. It gave me a GREAT start and end to each day.

The shower had poor water pressure. Temperature control was also tricky. The hotel needs modernisation. There was only one coat hanger.

Staff members responded quickly to requests. They were generally helpful and always available. The front desk operated 24 hours a day, VERY convenient for late arrivals or early departures.

the location worked well, it was near the butts arena. the bed i had was comfy. near reception i found a nice BAR.

the room was not clean. i saw dried urine on the toilet seat. the sink PLUG was broken. the bath tub was not clean and i found hairs in the plug hole.

The room smelled strongly of smoke it was unpleasant. There were stains on the carpet I found it quite off-putting. The window did not close properly it let in a draft.
