Underwhelming Stay with Noticeable Issues
strong mold smell unfinished walls
I did appreciate the breakfast service that included fresh croissants.
The bathroom really disappointed. It had a strong mold smell and lacked a fan. I also noticed that the walls was unfinished, needing a fresh coat of paint.

I found the temporary room arrangement upon early arrival accommodating. The staff excelled by suggesting excellent dining options. Breakfast was SUPER, with light croissants and delicious yogurt. The staff's quiet competence.

The front desk provided temporary rooms for early arrivals. Restaurant recommendations were excellent, particularly for traditional Portuguese food. Bell and housekeeping staff were very helpful and pleasant. They answered every request.

Breakfast featured light, airy croissants and ripe papaya yogurt. The coffee was very satisfying. It had a rich aroma. Fabricio from the restaurant team was especially helpful and attentive. I recommend it.

Fantastic Stay at a Former Palace
palace hotel amazing ceilings cute staff
This palace hotel is magnificent. The ceilings are amazing, especially from the lobby to the bar. Ricardo and Emerson are cute. They go above and beyond with requests. The welcome cocktail and tapas add an extra nice benefit. I felt lucky to have picked this hotel.
The bar staff seemed a bit disinterested in serving our large group. They lacked motivation, even though the hotel could have made a significant amount of money that evening.

The location was excellent, very close to the central area of the town. It offered tranquility and luxury inside the palace, and was also quiet, which I enjoyed a lot. The location was perfect! though the parking was expensive.

The staff was nice and helpful. Front desk staff made a temporary room available when I arrived early. They offered great recommendations for restaurants. The customer service is perfect. There is no pushy upsell.

Rooms include comfortable beds, great lighting, and thoughtful amenities. The restoration of this former palace involved very nice attention to detail in every space. I also used the outdoor pool, and it was amazing. The view overlooked the garden.
