Underwhelming stay. Spa was overcrowded

overcrowded spaslow room service
The spa was supposed to be relaxing, but it was full of kids. i seemed like i was at a public pool, not a fancy hotel. also, the room service took forever. I had to call twice to get my food. it was a bit annoying, though the girl at reception was polite, i guess.

The location was gorgeous. all staff were so lovely and helpful. the room was good. The bed was comfortable. breakfast was also fantastic! i ate in the claret jug and the food was amazing!!!
check-in took a while, due to the hotel being busy, but the management handed out glasses of prosecco to ease the wait.

the hotel is set in beautiful surroundings with historic buildings and gardens, so walking around was a treat. it's just outside the city, so the hotel provided a peaceful and scenic environment, separate from urban noise.

the staff were always cute and friendly and they went out of their way to ensure i was comfortable. reception was excellent and a member of staff, keira b, provided great service in the restaurant.

I found the staff very cute and helpful . i especially liked that the room had sky tv. This provided extra entertainment (it was a nice surprise!).
the walls were paper thin, so i could hear a lot of noise from the corridor at night. also, breakfast was crowded and some items like fruit ran out quickly, disappointing.
