i found the staff experienced, and they were plentiful. nothing was too much trouble whether i was by the pool or dining in the restaurant. there is a vibe of sophistication and refinement throughout the hotel. the decor and the architecture impressed me.

the air conditioning did not work well. i carried my own room temperature thermometer, and it was not possible to make the temperature lower than 22 degrees. the dial on the wall showed that i could set it to 18 degrees or lower, but that was not actually possible. breakfast was overcrowded, less enjoyable

the room was clean.

i left a purchase in my hotel room and tried to contact the hotel. i never received a response and the official email listed on their website keeps bouncing back. i am frustrated that a hotel of this level cannot provide the most basic ability to be contacted. i do not recommend this hotel.

the concierge offers great service. he manages to find bookings and does not give you a chance to follow up. you would hear from him asap.

the rooms are noisy because of poor soundproofing. i could hear everything from the hallway and even conversations from neighboring rooms like they were happening inside my room. for a hotel of this level, that is just unacceptable. the air conditioning was faulty also. i payed a lot and it was a total ripoff.
