a stay with some minor issues

fluffy towelslarge roomdirty facilitiesbasic shower
the large room offered a view of the historic village (it was quite picturesque). luxurious, fluffy towels were provided. the heating was simple to adjust to my preferred temperature.
the over-bath shower seemed designed for someone slender or short. the changing facilities at the spa looked tired and not entirely clean. i noticed the spa was open to local families, and children were often present.

The mattress really disappointed me. It reminded me of sleeping on a slab of concrete. also, the breakfast buffet lacked variety. I saw the same sad pastries every morning. the hot items were often lukewarm too, just thrilling. i did expect a bit more excitement from a place billing itself as a four-star hotel. it makes you wonder.

Reasonable Stay

double bedclean roomhelpful stafftelevision signalhard pastryremote control
The hotel room had a double bed. The room was clean. I also noticed large windows in the room. The windows give views from window. I found the staff helpful.
The television lost signal. The remote control did not match the actual TV. This was really annoying. I waited over half an hour before I could even get a drink at afternoon tea. The cakes were the hardest pastry I've ever had.
