The room seemed a bit tired. i noticed single-glazed windows. I could easily hear street sounds. the shower was missing a hand shower. This made things less convenient for me, and there were no bedside lamps, so i had to get out of bed to turn off the main light. it was not ideal.

i stayed three nights and found the staff very friendly and polite. my room was clean, and the bed was quite comfy. the hotel's location was ideal for exploring the area. i also appreciated that towels were changed and the room was cleaned daily.
the room was a bit warm. even with the window open, it didn't cool down much during the night.

rushed refurbishmentno fan
The recent refurbishment looked rushed, and there was paint in many places. The windows were painted shut. I found no fan in the room, and the warm weather. Housekeeping did not refill the tea and coffee supplies in my room. This felt disappointing considering the price I paid.
