The Kintail Lodge Hotel enjoys a fantastic location right on the Kyle of Lochalsh road, offering easy access and loch views, as many guests have noted. Its proximity to Loch Duich allows for nice, safe walks directly from the large car park. The rooms are generally spacious, some offering loch views, and while a few guests have found the decor to be a bit characterless, most appreciate the good pub food in the restaurant/bar and the varied breakfast options. There is also a lovely lounge area with views of the loch and hotel garden, providing a relaxing space to unwind.

The staff was so friendly , especially at reception. I found parking easily, great after a long drive. The breakfast in the morning had PLENTY of choices.

Really good Scottish Highlands Stay

helpful staff motorbike gear ample parking convenient access
The staff were genuinely helpful from arrival to departure. I especially appreciated the drying room. It saved my motorbike gear after heavy rain. I found ample parking space available throughout my stay. The hotel's location provided convenient access to Skye after a day exploring the island.
The lock on my room door rattled a bit, only a minor issue.
