the breakfast was tasty and lots of home cooked options was available. the bedroom was really comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. my husband said dinner was excellent, he really enjoyed it.
the bar shut quite early, about 10pm. i also think two glasses of wine and two bags of nuts was very expensive. it cost £30 i am sure i didn't make a mistake when i paid.

perfect single room delicious breakfast choices warm welcome accessible riverside walks
the single room was perfect for my needs. breakfast choices offered great value and were delicious. staff provided a warm welcome upon arrival. riverside walks were accessible right from the hotel.

totally awesome stay!
warm welcome great selection
this hotel is amazing! the staff gave a super warm welcome as i arrived. dinner was lovely and the breakfast had a great selection, so many options! i walked along the riverside as it's just steps away from the hotel.
the soundproofing wasn't great, i could easily hear next door showering. this was a little inconvenient.

the hotel has riverside walks literally on the doorstep. the surrounding area provides scenic routes and i took some beautiful photos. it is so pretty around there.

i enjoyed a wonderful dinner with great local variety. the restaurant service felt very attentive with fast service. there are daily specials and i chose a nice soup.

additional charge unclear communication
I found the service unsatisfactory. When I requested to print several documents, I faced an additional charge. This detail should be communicated more clearly. While waiting for breakfast, the cost of a regular filtered coffee was quite high, considering breakfast was part of the package.

the breakfast featured a great selection i loved overlooking the river from the hotel it presented great views the staff were friendly and very helpful with all requests.
the hotel sits near a road i sometimes heard cars during the night.

half a lifetime passed since my last visit. a stressful journey to and from the islands on family matters were book-ended by a restful stopover. the hotel rekindled memories of hospitality standards. the staff was friendly and efficient, understanding tired travelers. good food and a well-stocked bar were available.

i found THE staff helpful. Breakfast included various options. my room had high-quality bedding. the meals were prepared beautifully.
the bar closed early. the rooms can be noisy due to road proximity. there WAS no lift available. the room i stayed in did not have phone available.
