the receptionist provided a warm welcome and i had an excellent evening meal. breakfast was lovely, and the staff were helpful. i plan to return for another stay sometime.. it reminded me of a genuine escape.

i noticed some maintenance issues . specifically, i found the heating inadequate.. it made the room uncomfortably cold at times.

the staff took great care of us and were really good with our toddler. breakfast was delicious and plentiful. check in was quick and efficient with the night porter considering our late arrival.

the wash basin in the ensuite was slow to drain. i reported that the tv was unwatchable because of a thick line of broken pixels. it remained unfixed for my entire stay.

my room was large and warm with 2 comfortable seats. it also had a vanity and a smaller kitchen chair. the room included huge amounts of storage space ensuring plenty of space for belongings.

the receptionist responded quickly to my query. she was friendly, professional, and efficient. the restaurant provided high-quality food at a good price. the gentleman behind the bar created a nice night and he had a great sense of humor. he was wonderful with my kids. it was clear he cared about guests, and i liked it.
