The award-winning Riverview Restaurant serves a lunchtime menu, a varied evening menu, and traditional Sunday roasts, all made with locally sourced ingredients. Chef Denis Rhoden has created a menu that is modern European in style and flavor. The menus change regularly to reflect the finest, freshest seasonal produce available locally. Classic desserts such as lemon posset and treacle tart are in keeping with the old-England feel of the place. Breakfast is a small buffet with seeds, nuts, berries, pastries, and hams, plus a cooked menu offering kippers and boiled eggs, flat mushrooms on toast, and the traditional full English. The Yachtsman bar and galley dining area features dark wooden beams. Guests can have English Chapel Down sparkling wine on the terrace.
Leisure and Activities
Guests can arrange canoe and kayak hire on the Beaulieu River. New Forest Activities, has a base outside the hotel from where you can hire paddle boards and bikes and you can also book a half-hour river cruise to the mouth of the river and back. Guests can opt for a boat cruise from the pier directly in front of the hotel. Other activities include hiking/biking trails. Books and magazines help you wile away the hours.
