some issues noticed
dated room warm floor
I found some things were not quite right. our room, a standard double room, felt pretty old. the bed wasn't the best, especially considering the price. also, our floor was way too warm. It was like all the heat just stayed up there. it wasn't even that warm outside, so i don't know why it was so hot.

Decent Stay with Some Issues
dated room insufficient storage
The room looked dated, and the bed was not very comfortable considering the price. The floor felt excessively warm. I noticed a lack of drawers. The room did not offer enough storage space for my belongings.

clean hotel stocked whisky bar gluten-free options dated room warm floor disconnected doors
the hotel is quite clean throughout. i noticed this immediately upon arrival. the whisky bar is stocked very well with a variety of options. gluten-free options were available at breakfast, which i appreciate.
The room felt somewhat dated. This was a slight disappointment! the temperature on the top floor was noticeably warm. i was there during a cooler time of year, too. The doors between the lounge and bedroom did not connect internally, apply, twice.

underwhelming food experience
tasteless prawns aromatic leaf salad
The staff provided quick and efficient service.
i ordered a prawn cocktail as a starter, and it was disappointing. Instead of crisp iceberg lettuce, it had aromatic leaf salad and baby tomatoes i disliked. The prawns were plentiful but tiny, tasteless, and overcooked what a shame!!!

Absolutely Fantastic Stay!
super clean hotel whisky selection great breakfast helpful staff
The hotel was super clean and well-kept. I appreciated that very much. The whisky bar had a great selection, I was impressed! Breakfast had many options including choices for me, with my gluten intolerance. The staff were friendly and super helpful, I felt at home!
My room was a little warm when I arrived! though, it cooled down quickly once I opened the window.

The room included a modern iron and a hairdryer! also, it had a mini fridge, very useful. The bed was comfortable, and the room had nice size. There was plenty of space for luggage.

The hotel had a large car park, I found this to be very convenient. It was within easy reach of the hotel reception, this made arrival and departure very smooth. The hotel is well-situated.

the room was quiet and clean. the bed was comfortable. the linens smelled like washing powder.
the room lacked storage space. there was not one drawer. the bathroom had zero storage space. the bath had a shower curtain.
