i found the room decor high-end. the bed and linens felt luxurious. the building itself is fine (especially the main staircase). the staff were very friendly.
i noticed slightly tired decor in some areas. this was minor and did not impact my stay significantly. overall, the hotel presented well.

the staff were friendly and polite and treated us with respect. the hotel surroundings were clean and well maintained. it's excellent with plenty to do all around!!!

i found a mini bar stocked well in my room. the room offered lots of character and featured period ironwork. i appreciated the split-level flooring and a separate bath, it was a nice touch.
i experienced poor breakfast. the choices for toast were limited to jam, without meat or cheese.

the location was great, virtually next door to the train station. the hotel was clean with polite staff. i found the staff attentive.
the temperature of the room was far too hot. adjusting the thermostat made no difference. i couldn't open the window, i guess it was because we were on the fourth floor.
