Lyzzick Hall is favored for its beautiful location near Keswick, offering glorious views of the gardens and Newlands Valley from the spacious lounge and restaurant. Guests often praise the excellent food, especially the breakfast, and the comfortable, tastefully decorated rooms. A few guests have found the afternoon tea to be inconsistent with expectations. many appreciate the hotel's well-maintained character and the option to start hikes directly from the property.
My room was very clean and a good size. The breakfast was excellent with lovely views. The staff was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again!!!
The mattress was too hard for me, and the pillows were too hard also. I had a bad back and aching neck because of the bed. The evening meal did not meet my expectations. The items just didn't go together well.

the location was good. the views from the hotel are amazing.
I booked afternoon tea and was disappointed. the scones were burnt, and the sandwiches had crusts only partially cut off (it looked sloppy). the service was not attentive. No one checked on us to ask if we needed more coffee. i did advise the manager of the issues when we paid.
