droning bass two beds
the breakfast was plentiful and the bar area was nice.
i booked a quiet room with one big bed through agoda, and i did not get either. i was kept awake by a low droning bass sound throughout the night and early hours. also, the room had two beds pushed together, not what i expected or wanted.

Great Location and Helpful Staff

helpful receptionist top location good value
The receptionist was helpful. The location is top. The breakfast was excellent and offered good value. Parking cost £10 per night at the adjacent shopping centre. It was just a short, two-minute walk to the hotel.
The wallpaper was peeling off the wall in the bedroom. Some tables in the restaurant were small. The bar ran out of tonic and other drinks on our last evening. This shortage caused it to shut down before the delivery arrived.

birthday surprise easy access
The team provided a bottle of Prosecco on ice to celebrate my birthday (it was such a nice surprise!). The location provided easy access to nearby restaurants and shops.
The key card access to the lifts didn't work properly. Staff assistance was needed each time.

charming getaway!

generous upgrade unexpected service
i got upgraded, a lovely touch. breakfast offered adequate choices, and i appreciated the staff's attention to detail with non-dairy milk. i received a take away box when i told them i was leaving at 6 am, that i had breakfast included, they offered to do that for me. it was unexpected service.

the hotel provided a functional gym facility . breakfast included standard options with a friendly chef, a real plus. complimentary water and a tea and coffee tray were available in the room, topped up as needed.

inadequate storage inaccessible spot
the room had barely any storage space. i only found four non-removable hangers in a spot that was nearly impossible to reach behind a mirror. the shower situation was infuriating as i couldn't adjust the temperature without getting completely drenched immediately. also the bath was so high i struggled getting in and out i nearly fell.
