"We managed to book this as a last minute treat a few days before and despite reading the mixed reviews about the spa, we wanted to give it a go mostly because of the location which was absolutely stunning and we didn't find another spa with quite such amazing views."

the hotel location offers amazing views of the lake. my room was a standard lake view, and it had everything i needed for my stay. the breakfast was great, especially with the fresh fruit available.

the hotel seems a bit dated, needs some improvement. the restaurant menu was limited, and the food was overpriced. the bar offered little in the way of snacks, only crisps were available.

the room named standard lake view got a nice view of the lake. i had dinner and breakfast there, and the food was top notch. i did appreciate my nights stay.

the spa did charge extra for use, and that was fifteen pounds each. i wish i knew that earlier.

The location was excellent. The breakfast was good (the sausages were tasty).

The room I had smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, very unpleasant. The tv also did not work properly. I reported these issues, but nothing was fixed .
