Lanelay Hall is often described as an oasis, noted for its incredible theming and calming vibe. The BLOC restaurant stands out with its amazing food, while breakfast also receives high praise. Some guests have found the bed to be rather hard, but overall, many find the large rooms comfortable, especially with the tea and biscuits provided.

relaxing retreatcold roommobile radiators
The building was beautifully refurbished. It certainly seemed like a relaxing retreat.
I found several issues . The room was cold, with heat provided by mobile radiators. One radiator didn't even work. I thought it very odd to have no door on the bathroom, especially with a clear line of sight between the toilet and the bed.. resident access to the pool only began at 5pm. This detail hindered our planned spa visit upon our 3pm arrival.
