“Lancaster Hotel presents a curious case; while some rooms clearly need refurbishment, others offer a perfectly preserved time capsule for retro enthusiasts. The location is convenient, especially for those travelling with dogs, and the staff, while perhaps stretched, seem genuinely helpful. If you arrive with measured expectations and a sense of adventure, you might find its vintage charm outweighing its shortcomings.”

small room taped window
The room was quite small (i guess i should have paid more attention to the description). adjusting the shower temperature was a real challenge. It swung wildly between scalding and freezing. a window was held together with tape, i assume to keep the drafts out. overall, it reminded me of a budget experience (and not in a good way).
