helpful staff sea view good wifi bathroom door extractor fan shower hose
The staff were very helpful. They happily looked up information for me. I got a room above the bar. It gave a sea view and good WIFI. Breakfast was good TOO!!!
The bathroom door did NOT shut properly. The extractor fan did not work. The shower hose was leaking with NO pressure.

Solid stay by the water
friendly staff clean room perfect location
Staff members said hello each day. The room had a clean appearance and smelled fresh. I appreciated the location near the waterfront. I could watch boats from there.
Parking was sometimes limited in the front lot. It was difficult getting in and out. The back parking lot was not easily accessible by foot.

dated decor room wifi
the building felt quite old and worn the decor seemed dated and not very well maintained. i also had issues with the bathroom it was quite small and the shower wasn't working properly. there was also no wifi available in the room which was quite inconvenient bad shower, room wifi

Solid Stay with Excellent Service
helpful staff comfortable bed convenient access
The staff was genuinely helpful. They quickly addressed a minor issue with the room's lighting. I found the bed comfortable and the room was clean upon arrival. The hotel's location allowed easy access to nearby attractions.
The television in the room was smaller than expected.

The hotel includes a back bar that had a very interesting design and offered a variety of beverages. Parking was available both in front of the hotel and in the back, so it was convenient. The hotel's lounge offered great views.

The room had all I needed for coffee and tea making, including a kettle and cups. The provided Nescafé and tea bags were restocked daily. This was helpful. The room was warm and clean. I appreciated this after long days.

The hotel sits within walking distance to restaurants and bars so going out for dinner was not a struggle. The view from the room overlooked the bay. This provides an excellent vista each morning. The hotel sits next to St Columba's Cathedral.

convenient location helpful staff breakfast option
i found the location to be very convenient for exploring. the staff were helpful when i needed directions. the breakfast included scrambled eggs and sausages , which i enjoyed. there was also parking available on site , which was useful.
i noticed the shower pressure was quite low , , made it difficult to rinse shampoo from my hair.

the room had two twin beds , each with a reading lamp. a small desk sat beneath the window, along with a tv mounted to the wall. there was also a wardrobe for clothes storage.

the hotel is close to the town center. i walked to local shops and restaurants with ease , and the harbor was only a short distance away. public transport links were also within easy reach.

small room taped window
The room was quite small (i guess i should have paid more attention to the description). adjusting the shower temperature was a real challenge. It swung wildly between scalding and freezing. a window was held together with tape, i assume to keep the drafts out. overall, it reminded me of a budget experience (and not in a good way).
