Restaurant Johann Grill serves local specialties and Bavarian cuisine with views of the Berchtesgaden mountains. The Kaminbar offers homemade cakes, chocolates, and specialty coffees. Bergstüberl features hot stone dinners or fondue in winter, and has a hot stone menu for EUR 89 per person. The Lobby Lounge provides a space to unwind with regional and international spirits and classic cocktails.

Kempinski The Spa includes indoor and outdoor pools, Finnish and herbal saunas, a steam room, a meditation lounge with waterbed loungers, and a Physiotherm infrared cabin. The gym provides floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views, Technogym equipment, cardio machines, and strength machines. Spa treatments are available. Activities include off-road Segway tours to the emerald green lake in Germany's only alpine national park and guided tours through caverns in the Berchtesgaden salt mountain.

Holidaymakers have scheduled flights to Salzburg Airport or Munich International Airport. A toll sticker is required for vehicles weighing up to 3.5 tonnes to drive on motorways and high-speed roads in Austria; the easiest place to get a toll sticker is at a local petrol station.

The hotel has ten conference rooms, including the Paulus van Vianen rooms which can accommodate up to 200 guests, and the Carl von Linde room features bi-fold doors to the terrace, and is expandable to combine with the Clara Schumann room, creating a room for up to 65 people. The Clara Schumann room is for presentations or small-scale meetings. The Valentin Stanig room is a boardroom with a fixed oval table that seats 12 people. The Ludwig Ganghofer boardroom is suited to meetings and conferences for small groups.
