Dining Experience
The Juniper Bistro, a local favorite and recipient of multiple Best of the Bow dining awards, features a varied menu. The menu celebrates Canadian ingredients, paired with seasonal veggies. Dishes include Beet Salad and braised bison. Start your evening with a shared charcuterie platter, featuring meats and cheeses from local producers. Select your main from specials, including braised beef cheek, shrimp ravioli and a vegan spiced lentil cake. A hot, a la carte breakfast for two with your choice of main dish and a non-alcoholic beverage is also available. Sumptuous set menus of regionally inspired dishes are always made from scratch. Savour plant-rich dishes inspired by nature, made from scratch, and featuring a mix of plant and animal proteins. Gosford Maple Farm supplies maple syrup and Deepwater Farms provides fresh produce.
Leisure and Activities
Guests can access the mountain-view hot tub. Complimentary e-bike and fat bike rentals are available for rides along the Legacy Trail and Vermilion Lakes. The hotel provides hiking backpacks pre-filled with essentials, hiking poles and ice cleats.
Location & Access
The Juniper Hotel & Bistro is minutes from downtown Banff. The Bear Street Mall is a five-minute drive or taxi ride from the Juniper Hotel. Moraine Lake is easily accessible. The hotel is near the Mt. Norquay wildlife corridor. It is the nearest hotel to Moraine Lake with the easiest access.
Hotel Services
The Juniper Hotel offers Banff shuttles to and from downtown in a hybrid shuttle vehicle, including drop-offs to Banff transit hubs. The Juniper showcases a contemporary art collection, highlighting First Nation, Métis and Inuit artists. A planting code allows you to name a tree in their virtual forest. Pet friendly rooms are available in select room types and must be booked in advance directly with hotel. Parking is available for the duration of your stay (outdoor, no height limits). Guests are required to purchase a National Park pass for the duration of their stay.
