Charming Stay with Great Amenities

helpful staffcalm roomclean placerooftop pool
The location was pretty good. The staff were friendly and helpful, and someone was always at the desk. I liked my room. It was like a calm place. The shower was great, and the bed felt really comfy (i slept so well!). The common areas were nice and not busy . The whole place was very clean, and it had a relaxing atmosphere. I even had a swim in the rooftop pool, nice!
There was no tv in the room. Hot drink facilities were on the landing, and i had to visit another floor to get milk. It was a small thing but slightly inconvenient.
Service
9/10
The reception offered prompt assistance with check-in and luggage storage. Staff members were available at the front desk 24/7 (very convenient for late arrivals!). They provided helpful information about local transportation and nearby attractions.
Dining
8/10
A restaurant is on site, and plenty of places to eat are nearby. There is breakfast available. The hotel has water and coffee machines on each floor, something unusual and very friendly.
Rooms
9/10
The rooms kept very clean. The soundproofing was good when the window was closed, so external noise did not disturb my sleep. The family rooms offer functional decor (a practical layout).

My room, the Standard Double Room, included air conditioning that worked very well. There was also a safe available for securing valuables. The room had blackout curtains. This helped ensure restful sleep. I also liked the on-site coffee machine.
The hotel lacked on-site parking and this was inconvenient. I had trouble finding a parking spot nearby after dinner one night. there weren't any mirrors in the bedroom. This made tasks like applying makeup difficult since the bathroom was too dark.

An Acceptable Hotel Experience

The family room was cool. It had a double bed and a bunk bed the kids enjoyed. Breakfast offered a decent buffet arrangement. The rooftop bar includes a plunge pool. It got busy in the late afternoons so plan accordingly.
I booked a room that said it had been reduced but later the cost was higher. I don't feel the website made this clear. The walls were thin. I heard a very loud conversation outside my door at 2 AM, hard to sleep.

The rooftop pool was smaller than expected, just a tiny area. The street noise was VERY loud at night. I couldn't sleep well. My window faced the main road. A quieter room would have helped IMMENSELY.
